Le Sabah, et Sarawak, au nord de Born\u00e9o, deviennent britanniques. Les Hollandais reprennent les territoires au sud de Singapour, en 1817, ce qui constitue plus tard l&rsquo;actuelle Indon\u00e9sie.<\/p><p>La Malaisie est envahie et occup\u00e9e par le Japon pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale.
